Choral Repertoire Database

Latin

Curation of choral repertoire is particularly challenging in modern times, as the ability to access or build a sheet music library is becoming increasingly more difficult.  If one wishes to purchase a score for perusal, it is often required to purchase 10 or more copies in an effort to prevent a director from simply purchasing one copy and making multiple copies for his ensemble—which creates more problems than it solves (more on this later).  In an effort to help build a library with repertoire that is already vetted from directors and singers who have worked with and recommend these pieces, Cantus Gallicorum has created a simple database, to add and find recommended repertoire by filling out a form that automatically populates in the spreadsheet below.

As Cantus Gallicorum focuses primarily on Latin repertoire and Latin language study, the first database will be populated with recommendations of Latin repertoire (100% in Latin) with an estimated performance duration of one to twelve minutes.
